What are the standard market rates for java developers?

Hello to everyone!! I am a Computer Science student and will graduate this year, and I want to pursue JAVA Programming. The Problem is I don't know where I should start in supplying my self additional knowledge in JAVA Prog. and also gaining experience in it. I would like to know What are the standard market rates for java developers? CommentsDepends where u live!

Also what industry. Depends on what you know and your background. Financial Services, Manufacturing, gaming, Accounting, RFID, location based services, etc... There really isn't to much "just java" out there. These days you need to perform a lot of the business analysis as well.
